The Graphic Novel Drawing Page Contest is a monthly program showcasing artists who are inspired by Graphic Novels. Each month, a winner will be selected and entries will be displayed on social media platforms. All adults are welcome to participate.
Contest starts October to December 2020
All entries must be original work (PG Rated). Copyright materials will not be accepted. Identify superhero, skills, strengths and tell us your story. Artists can use the following mediums: watercolors, pencils, pens, digital, markers, and acrylic paint. Winning entries will be highlighted on social media.
Entries should be submitted to referencelibrarian@mcallen.net no later than the following dates:
1st Contest entry due Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 5 pm
2nd Contest entry due Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 5 pm
3rd Contest entry due Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 5 pm
All submitted entries will be the property of McAllen Public Library and can be reproduced for public distribution.
